It's funny how when Tee posts at 5 pm she apologizes for posting "so late" when 10 pm is my regular posting time hahaha.
I can't believe Pesach's just one week away! Tomorrow's our last day of school before break, and it couldn't come fast enough. So psyched for these next two weeks off! Definitely in need of this. (when am I not in need of vacation...lol)
One of my favorite pastimes is browsing through different DIY blogs, especially those that talk about DIY organization. While I was browsing through some pages and videos earlier today, I found some really cute and easy ways to clean and reorganize for Spring. Here are my top picks.

1. DIY Jewelry Tree

To make this tree, you will need:
-A glass bottle (like a milk bottle from Michael's)
-Tree twigs and small branches
-Spray paint
Directions:
Gather the twigs from the tree's outside, lay them out on some newspaper, spray them with spray paint, let them dry for a few hours, and place them inside the bottle. Then take your necklaces and bracelets and hang them on the branches.

2. Home-Made Citrus Vinegar Cleaner Recipe
3. Tin Can Holders
bhg.com
You know how your mom's been begging you to finish off the chometz before Pesach? (Ik my mom sure has..)
Here's an incentive to do so!
Finish off the food from your tin cans, and then save the cans.
Rinse them clean, tear off the wrapper, and recover them with cute scrapbook paper and some mod podge. These cans are great for storing makeup brushes, pens, lip balms... anything really that lies around making your room look messy.

4. Handy Cleaning Kit
marthastewart.com)
Most people don't like cleaning. (I might be one of the few of my friends who actually enjoy it haha)
But there's a way to make it much easier.
Carry everything you need in one basket/bucket! Put in your Windex, towels, scrubbers and everything you can possibly need so that you can bring it easily along to every area that needs cleaning.

5. Beauty-Product Shoe Pocket Organizer
Instead of using these shoe pocket organizers for shoes, why not store your beauty products in them? Some pockets can be used for nail polish, others for makeup sponges, nail tools, hair products.... anything that'll fit. I suggest getting one made out of transparent plastic material so that you can see through every pocket.
You can also use these for art/school supplies. Put in your post-it notes, scissors, glue sticks... And everything stays neat and organized. You never need to worry about misplacing anything ever again!

That's it for now folks.
Happy cleaning!
