As per the request of my friend Sefa (who I'm sorta kinda maybe related to) I'm gonna talk about what I do to keep my hair clean, healthy, strong.
Firstly, and most importantly, I do not wash my hair every day. And sometimes, I let it go two days before I wash it.
*GASP!*
My friends for some reason think this is gross. But honestly, I don't know why! Letting your hair go a couple of days without a wash is super healthy for it because it let's the natural oils sink into your hair, thereby making it stronger, shinier, and healthier. Which also means it'll grow faster and that it'll be trained to not get oily so fast!
So I think it's awesome! Haha.
Secondly, for shampoo and conditioner, I LOVE the "Clear" brand. It's really cheap, (you can find it at any drugstore) and really makes my hair smell good till the next wash. It also makes my hair feel really clean, soft and shiny. (It basically does everything you'd want a shampoo and conditioner to do.)
Thirdly, I really try to use a heat protectant spray before I apply heat to my hair. This is also really important because heat really does a lot of damage to hair, and causes deadness and split ends. My favorite one is the Tresemme Heat Tamer Spray because it's easy to use and smells really fresh.
Lastly, I also try to get my hair cut as frequent as I can. Due to laziness and lack of time, I don't do it as much as I really should, but it really does make a difference. Getting a trim every 6 weeks to every couple of months helps sooo much with hair growth. So if you want your hair to grow, schedule them haircut appointments.
(BTW if anyone lives in the Los Angeles area and needs a haircut place, email us at [email protected] and id be glad to give the name of my guy. He's so funny and amazing at what he does.)
******* Sidenotes********
-Whenever I feel like my hair needs extra moisture, I use the Aussie deep conditioner and it does miracles. It also smells so good I wanna eat it. Lol.
-If my hair needs some extra oomph and shine, I love the BedHead After Party Smoothing Cream.
-On Chags or days when my hair feels or looks oily, I use the Batiste dry shampoo which also works miracles.
- Last important tip, I try to never brush my hair when it's wet, I only comb it or use the tangle teezer and this helps prevent the hair from breaking and splitting. More about the tangle teezer, it comb/brushes through the hair and really gets out every knot without pulling so it's painless. Soo amazing.
I think that's about it guys.
If you have any questions, please feel free to email them of write them down in the comments.
Hope you all have an amazing Shabbos!
Love, Z
